The ensemble La Trifora consists of Johanna Unterpertinger (recorders, double flute, pipe & tabor), Lucas Silva (historical percussion) and Maddalena Bortot (vielle). They met during their studies in Barcelona in early 2025 and soon discovered their shared love for medieval music. They try to find as many different sonorities as possible with their given instruments, always trying to stay as close as possible to historical sources while still taking their freedom in interpreting the music. 

They played in different festivals and concert series around Europe, such as the SRP & Early Music Shop Recorder Festival 2025 in Saltaire, West Yorkshire (GB), Concerts à l’atic in Barcelona (E), in the Igreja Matriz of Angeja (P), MusAntiqfest'25 in Madeira (P) or the Samstagsmusiken am Schlingermarkt in Vienna (AT). In February 2026, they were finalists of the Before Beethoven competition in Valencia (E).
